Perfect for budget-conscious travelers
I stayed here recently and it was better than I thought it would be, the staff were nice enough to squeeze me in for an extra night when the storm hit,the breakfast was simple but filled me up, only 5 pounds for some boiled eggs, toast, and coffee, a good start to the day.
It wasn't exactly overpriced but still on the higher side for what you get.

The location was peaceful and handy, not too far from Mercat Cross. The room with a single bed.

The hotel's location was marvellous and perfect, close to public transport from the Isle of Skye as well as the Edinburgh by train. Immaculately clean units with a comfortable bed, the TV, heating, and the staff were pleasant.

The shower provided a good blast of hot water, essential after a long day, and the bed was comfortable enough for a crash.
The room's size left a lot to be desired. It was the smallest I've encountered. I also found the basic amenities underwhelming, with a lack of cleanliness that was hard to overlook-dust and stains on the walls indicated a need for better upkeep. I rushed past the free breakfast, but I heard it wasn't much to write home about, disappointing given the potential for a solid start to the day. Parking options were nearly non-existent, forcing me to park on the street, which might be tricky for bigger vehicles.

It was the only room available to suit my needs
Tiny room, tiny en suite, no soap or drinking glass provided in bathroom, noise penetrating from other rooms kept me awake

Reasonable value for money, nice bar, free wi fi and good location-near to town and railway station. Pleasant staff
Cleanliness could be improved both in rooms and public areas. More attention to detail i.e no towel rail, hole in wall due to no door stop etc. Furniture dated.

Brace yourself for this review!
With its excellent location near the train station, this place is a budget-friendly option for those venturing into the city. While rooms can be on the small side, they remainsuper clean and cozy. The self-service breakfast offers essentials for a good start. Pleasant staff add to the experience, though don't expect luxury!

Honestly, I was surprised by how clean and warm my small double room was during an unexpected storm! The self-serve breakfast was simple but had perfectly boiled eggs and fresh fruit. The parking was convenient and saved me the stress of city driving.
